What is Semaglutide GLP-1?
Semaglutide is a medication approved for the treatment of obesity and is marketed under the brand name Wegovy. It belongs to a class of medications known as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists. It works by reducing appetite and calorie intake, leading to weight loss.
Who is Semaglutide for?
Semaglutide is intended for use in adults who have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 kg/m² or higher, or for those with a BMI of 27 kg/m² or higher with at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol.
How is Semaglutide Administered?
Semaglutide is administered as a subcutaneous (under the skin) injection. The recommended dosage is 0.25-2.4mg once a week.

The duration of treatment with Semaglutide can vary depending on individual response and goals. Clinical trials have typically studied the medication over a period of up to 104 weeks.

Recommended Weekly Dosage for Semaglutide (Men and Women):
0.25mg = For the first 2 weeks
0.50mg = For the next 2 weeks
0.75mg = For the next 2 weeks
1.00mg = For the next 2 weeks
etc…
*Increase the dosage every 2 weeks. Maximum dosage is 2.4mg weekly. Can be used up to 104 weeks. Inject subcutaneously once per week.
**When you are satisfied with the rate of weight loss, there is no need to increase dosage.
